Me and my AI robo-friend thinking through hard problems and cooking up your next rev
About me
I started designing back in high school, participating in design forums and online marketplaces. Sometimes I would even stay up past my bed time just to get a button to look right. Since then, I've had the privilege of working on products I care about, and influence industries impacting my daily life. No matter the subject, I get joy out of solving product problems.
When I'm not on the job, I like to work on personal design projects – two currently cooking, travel to new places, hike up mountains, bike around, and spend quality time with quality people.
How I work in 2026
AI has fundamentally changed the design process. My work now blends thinking through problems with Claude, building prototypes in Claude Code, and treating Figma as one tool among several rather than the center of the process. The result is faster iteration on real interactions instead of static mockups, and more time spent on the harder problem of what to build rather than how to lay it out.
How I can help your team
Available in 2–4 month bursts. Long enough to ship meaningful work and influence the team long term, short enough to stay sharp with experience across various types of projects.
For early-stage startups, I'm your one-person design team. From product surface to brand to landing page, wherever design thinking is missing, I fill the gap.
For medium and large orgs with missing headcount, I'm a temporary extension of your senior IC bench. I plug into existing teams, ship alongside your designers, and leave you with documented patterns.
While I specialize in product design, I'm comfortable with whatever comes up. Ongoing design feedback, mentoring non-designers or junior designers, landing pages, deck communications, brand tweaks. Useful generalist energy when the work calls for it.
